Found Mexican $5 coin; what's it worth? | Yahoo Answers Mar 07, 2009 · So I found this bi-metallic coin that says "$5" on one side and "Estados unidos Mexicanos" on the other. Made in 2005. So I'm assuming that if $1 U.S.=$1 peso, this thing is worth like 30 cents. Am I right? Would I be able to get anything for this coin from collectors? Or, I guess, since I don't really want it, what should I charge to get rid of it?
